Zakynthos, also known as Zante, is a picturesque Greek island located in the Ionian Sea, off the western coast of the Peloponnese. Zakynthos is renowned for its stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters and golden sand. This tour will take you on a full day exploring the northern part of this paradise island by land and sea!
Your knowledgeable, local guide will pick you up around the island by minibus to embark on this full day of exploring Zakynthos Island (please specify your pick-up location upon booking). They will take you to a number of the island's most beautiful and relaxing spots. On the coast, you will also travel by speedboat to access the more remote parts of the tour.
The first stop is the panorama on Bohali Hill, which offers impressive views over the gorgeous Greek water, as well as the Navagio Shipwreck Beach below. You will then descend onto its white sands to relax and swim in the turquoise sea - this is the perfect spot to work on your tan and freshen up in the clear water. Using a motorboat, you will then be taken to the Blue Caves, where you will be able to swim again in its dazzling pools and get lots of photos along the way.
Continuing your way along the coast, your next big stop will be at Xygia Beach, which is known for its natural sulfur springs and collagen waters. Bathe here for your own free spa treatment! You will have the opportunity to eat in a Greek restaurant here. For those who wish to bring their own food on this trip, you are more than welcome. However, if you wish to taste the local cuisine, don't hesitate to order a bite!
On the way back, you will drive along Zakynthos Island's quaint roads and make a stop at the small village of Exo Chora. Not only will you be able to taste some of the local produce here, but you will also be able to visit one of the island's oldest olive trees! At over 2000 years old, this magnificent specimen is a rare sight indeed. You will then be dropped off at your original pick-up point on the island.
