Rhodes is a beautiful Greek island, known for its enchanting underwater landscapes. The sea is generally warm in the summer months and the water is clear, creating ideal visibility and great conditions for diving. After this course, you will receive a certificate which allows you to dive anywhere in the world!

After arriving at the diving centre in Rhodes, you will meet the certified guides. The team consists of friendly, funny and most importantly fully qualified instructors to help you get your certification. The instructors will ensure that you will feel at ease with all aspects of the course, and that you dive in the most amazing places around Rhodes, by boat and from the shore. For first-time divers, you can choose to obtain the Open Water Certificate. If you have this certificate already, you can get your Advanced Open Water Certificate.

After meeting your guides, you will pay the additional fee, which is used for all the PADI equipment and training for the course. The guides will then transport you to the first diving spot. They will go through how to use all of the equipment and the instructions for scuba diving. For the Open Water Course, you will start off with more shallow dives to get used to the sensation. You will reach a maximum depth of 18 meters throughout the course. For the Advanced Open Water Course, you will reach a maximum depth of 30 meters.

The diving spots include St. Paul's Reef, offering great visibility, spectacular rock formations, and a maximum depth of 20 meters. Another option is St. Paul's Cavern, with local sea life and unique rock formations. Pentanissos Islet, known as the second-deepest spot in the Mediterranean Sea, is another spot with reaches depths of 22 meters below the surface. The Great Cave of Lindos is a magnificent cave which includes two domes for certified open-water divers. The beautiful fauna there will surely intrigue you to become an Advanced Open Water Diver to explore even further!

At the end of the course, you will take a short multiple-choice exam based on the theory of diving, which you will learn throughout the course. Once you have passed this exam and feel comfortable with the practical side, you'll receive your certificate! You will then be certified to dive anywhere in the world.
