Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese islands located in the Aegean Sea and is known for its rich history, ancient ruins, and beautiful beaches. The terrain on the island varies, from stunning beaches along the coastline, to fertile and flat plains. There is a lot of ground to discover on this exciting Jeep adventure!
You will begin your self-drive Jeep safari by being picked up from your hotel in Rhodes by the experienced guide (please specify your location upon booking). From there, you will receive a safety briefing and a Jeep driving lesson. Each Jeep will have one driver and up to three passengers. After going through the itinerary, you will set off driving in the comfortable, air-conditioned Jeep, following the guide!
Rhodes is covered in unseen gems of beauty, so take the opportunity to unveil what remains hidden. You’ll enjoy a unique ride through the beautiful nature, reaching the well-known Seven Springs, a magical oasis leading to Rhodes' natural heaven. Walk the famous tiny tunnel and explore the springs, surrounded by nature.
Your second stop takes you to Archipoli, a charming village, where you will taste some locally produced sweet honey, and savour many more flavourful products, such as the excellent olive oil, souma, sweets, and seasonal fruits. For the next stop, you will travel to a beautiful panoramic view all the way up to Mount Profitis Ilias with a little 15th-century whitewashed chapel overlooking the entire island. Take in the breathtaking views of Rhodes!
Your guide will then lead the way to the final stop, a local winery up in the mountains. You will learn some interesting facts about wine production and walk along the vineyards. You can choose to finish your visit with an optional wine tasting and a traditional ''Meze'' lunch for an additional fee on the spot. The appetizing Greek mezes combine different small plates to share on the table. After you've recharged, you will make your way back to the starting point, riding through little villages and the beautiful nature, followed by a refreshing swim in the sparkling crystal-clear waters.
