Located on the beautiful island of Paros, Santa Maria Beach has many incredible diving sites in close proximity. With the opportunity to do 2 dives per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, you can choose between a single-boat dive or 3 dives in one of the most stunning places in the Aegean Sea. In addition, since scuba diving equipment is included in the ticket price, all you need to bring is a sense of adventure along with your PADI Open Water or Advanced Open Water Certification (from any association)!
Santa Maria Cape
Located just a 2-minute drive from the diving center, Santa Maria Cape is known for its diverse aquatic life, which includes groupers, white breams, damsels, and purple sponges. The visibility is 25 to 30 meters (82 to 98 feet) under the surface and the depth is 6 to 25 meters (20 to 82 feet).
Santa Maria Anchor
Also in close proximity to the diving center, Santa Maria Anchor is ideal for advanced divers. Known for its old British anchor that marks the spot, you be treated to dogtooth groupers, amberjacks, damsels, and many other species of fish! The depth ranges from 19 to 25 meters (62 to 82 feet).
The KT 18 Pelikan Shipwreck
This amazing shipwreck of a WWII German vessel is characterized by several pieces of the ship, which is now inhabited by barracudas and eels. The depth range is 10 to 12 meters (33 to 39 feet). All scuba divers must have a minimum of 15 logged dives in order to participate.
Kouronissi
Just 5 minutes away from the diving centre, this challenging wall dive is only suitable for advanced divers. With a depth range of 19 to 25 meters (62 - 82 feet), this spot is home to groupers, dogtooth groupers, and barracudas.
Vryokastro
Also located 5 minutes away from the centre, with a maximum depth of 30 meters (98 feet), Vryokastro is a small cavern with an imposing wall that houses a variety of barracudas and groupers.
The Marianna Shipwreck
The Marianna shipwreck is situated 20 minutes from the diving center and now serves as a natural habitat for damsels. You can also find big groupers and scorpionfish around the corals that cover the vessel. The maximum depth at this site is 25 meters (82 feet).
The Express Samina Shipwreck
This breathtaking shipwreck is located 30 minutes away from the dive centre. The Express Samina sank in 2000 due to bad weather conditions and divers can still see the cars and vehicles that sank with the ship. The maximum depth at this site is 35 meters (115 feet) and participants must have an advanced diver background.
Frouros Reef
For the Open Water Certified divers, this dive is simply magnificent! You will find canyons, bluish swim-throughs, wide arches, parrotfishes, sunfish, corals, and lobsters. In addition, a British anchor is located at a depth of 18 meters (59 feet). The maximum depth at this site is 25 meters (82 feet).
Pantieronissi Cavern
Located 25 minutes away from the dive centre, the renowned Pantieronissi Cavern boasts an incredible dome with stalactites. The cavern is very beautiful and while diving you will see a plethora of anemones, scorpionfish, shrimps, crabs, etc!
The Beaufighter
One of the most unique dive sites on Paros, the aircraft is located at a depth of 35 meters (114 feet). You will explore the outer surface of the aircraft that now serves as a reef for diverse aquatic species. This particular dive site can only be accessed by advanced scuba divers with a minimum of 30 logged dives.
