Enjoy a semi-private sailing cruise from Mykonos to Rhenia Island and Delos Island, with a guided tour of the archaeological site!
Mykonos is a popular Greek island located in the Aegean Sea, forming part of the Cyclades group. It is known for its stunning landscapes, with sandy beaches, rolling hills, and crystal-clear waters. On this boat tour, you'll sail from Mykonos and discover the nearby islands of Rhenia and Delos!
The adventure begins with pick-up from your accommodation in Mykonos (please specify your location upon booking). From there, you'll be transferred to the embarkment point and board the 51-foot luxury yacht. The experienced crew will greet you and go through a quick safety briefing. Then, the skipper will set sail across the Aegean Sea, heading southwest towards the centre of the Cyclades.
Along the way, you can relax on the deck and enjoy the incredible views of Mykonos' beautiful scenery. The first stop of the tour is at the untouched islet of Rhenia, separated from Delos Island by a small strait. The boat will anchor here at an idyllic bay, where you'll swim in the crystal-clear turquoise waters and sunbathe on the golden sandy beach. Snorkelling gear is also provided for you to explore the fascinating underwater landscape of the island.
A Mediterranean-style buffet lunch will be served on board the boat, consisting of local Greek flavours, fresh fruits, and drinks (house wine, beers, or soft drinks). After lunch, the journey continues to Delos Island, one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece. Upon arrival, a licensed guide will greet you and take you on a tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You'll visit the museum, walk up Mount Kynthos, and admire the numerous ancient ruins. According to mythology, Delos is the birthplace of the Greek gods Apollo and Artemis. You'll have some free time to walk around the island and take in the fascinating sites. At the end of the tour, you'll return to the boat and sail back to the starting point in Mykonos. Then, you'll be transferred to your accommodation.
