You need no prior experience to become a sailor who masters the seas… With this sailing course, you’ll learn the theory basics, you’ll use a strong soling boat to get you around while you learn different tricks and tips, and you’ll get the opportunity to explore the nearby islands by boat! All you need to know is how to swim, and the rest will come naturally once you’re more familiar with your new environment!

Location
You’ll find yourself in the sandy beach of Ouranoupoli, a small modern village also known as “the gate of Mount Athos”, with many cafes, restaurants, and accommodation nearby. Ouranoupoli means “the city of heaven” or the “city of the sky”. It’s part of the Chalkidiki region and it’s just a step away from the “Holy Mountain” of Greece, so you’re in luck if you wish to explore the surrounding areas!

Program
You’ll meet your instructors and you’ll start with theory. Once you’ve become familiar with the basics, you’ll practice your sailing skills! You’ll do some exercises on the soling boat and you’ll sail to the small islands that are close-by.
