Canyoning excursion in the Kesselbach gorge

The technical canyon in the Berchtesgadener Land offers beautiful nature and an 18-meter abseiling spot as a highlight.

In this canyon, there are no jumps. The emphasis is on climbing and abseiling.

The route includes abseiling spots up to 18 meters, short natural rock slides and a beautiful view of the Saalachsee.

After a short ascent of about 20 minutes, you will make your first experiences with the technical components of the canyoning sport. Equipped with state-of-the-art canyoning gear, you will master steep cliffs, abseiling in waterfalls, and learn about the specifics of canyoning.

This tour is the ideal introduction and the perfect preparation for advanced, heavy technical tours.

The Kesselbach gorge is not more than a 5 minutes drive from the outdoor center. The tour will start from the outdoor center in the Berchtesgaden area in Bavaria, where you will receive your canyoning equipment. With your car, you will drive to the entry point of the gorge. When you arrive you will be briefed on the tour passages and the safety requirements.
