The lessons start with a quick presentation about the spot you will be visiting and analysis of the weather and water conditions. You will then have a quick warm-up on the sand before jumping into the water to get the lesson started.

Throughout your lesson your instructor will give you advice on the best techniques and methods.

Itinui has 4 favourite surfing spots Papenoo, Ahonu beach, Papara spot and Taravao.

The spot of Papenoo is easily accessible and can be reached by car. The waves here are ideal for beginners with right and left beach breaks. The waves The waves vary in size but are very accessible. The wind blows in from the south-west and south-east and the swell ranges from 1 metre to 2 metres.

The spot of Papara has a large break and waves that are popular for being the most consistent of Tahiti. Here you will mainly find beach break waves both left break and right. The best period to surf here is between May to October.
