Combining kayaking and snorkelling, this sea kayaking excursion on the Raiatea lagoon will take you on a 3.5-hour discovery of the lagoon's rich flora and fauna. Led by 2 guides who know the area like the back of their hand, your small group of no more than 4 participants will head off to a little-frequented, unspoilt area of the lagoon for a pleasant snorkelling break, followed by a snack on board your sea kayak or on a motu.

The day before your sea kayaking excursion in Raiatea, your instructors will decide where your outing will take place, depending on the weather conditions, so that you can enjoy an escapade in the safest possible conditions. You will set off for an area of the lagoon that is off the beaten track for kayaking in Raiatea, where you will be able to snorkel in peace and watch the underwater life flourish while respecting it.

Practical information

Course of events

- Meeting with the instructor and introductions

- Distribution of equipment followed by a briefing on the activity, sea kayaking and safety instructions

- Start of the sea kayaking excursion on the Raiatea lagoon for 3.5 hours

- Arrival at the snorkelling site for a launch with your masks and snorkels

- The snorkelling break is followed by a snack break on board the kayaks or on a motu

- Sailing back to the meeting point, return of your equipment and end of the activity

Activity requirements

Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.

A minimum number of 2 participants is required for this activity to take place.
