With its superb turquoise waters and rich underwater flora and fauna, the Moorea lagoon is an ideal place for your very first dive. At depths of up to 6 metres, you will discover the incredible sensations of scuba diving while admiring the most beautiful underwater scenery: clownfish, surgeon fish, stingrays, and even leopard rays and sea turtles for the lucky ones, will be swimming not far from you to give you an unforgettable first dive in the Moorea lagoon!
After donning your wetsuits at the diving centre and following the briefing given by your instructors, you will take the boat to one of the best spots in the lagoon for your first dive in Moorea. You will get into the water in pairs with an instructor, where you will have a good foothold to finish equipping yourself with your tanks, and then begin your immersion to a maximum depth of 6 metres. Your instructor will stay by your side throughout the 30 minutes you spend underwater to ensure your safety and show you the beautiful treasures hidden in the lagoon: prepare to be amazed by the beauty of the Polynesian underwater world!

Practical information
- Meeting with the team at the centre on Tipaniers beach and completion of a health questionnaire
- Distribution of equipment and fitting of wetsuits
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Boarding the boat and sailing for around 10 minutes to the dive site
- Launch with the instructor (2 divers per instructor), where you have a foothold to fit your cylinders and carry out your first dive for around 30 minutes, to a maximum depth of 6 metres
- Return to the boat, de-equipping and navigation back to the centre
- Disembarkation, return of wetsuits and end of the activity
Knowing how to swim isn't compulsory for this activity.
You must not have any medical contraindications to taking part in this activity.
A written parental authorisation is required for minors to take part in this activity without an accompanying adult.
Pregnant people cannot participate in this activity.
A health questionnaire will be completed on site to check that you have no contraindications to scuba diving.
