The Dranse is one of the nearest whitewater rivers from Geneva and Lausanne.
It's ideal to learn the basics of kicking and swimming in white water which are the basics of hydrospeed. You'll use a buoy to help you manage your direction and stay afloat as you pass the numerous rapids of the river!
You will use the shuttles from the center to reach the pontoon. From there, you'll go down the rapids which are accessible for all levels and your itinerary brings you back to the center. The water is quite cool (between 7 and 8 degrees throughout the summer season), but no worries! You wear a wetsuit and the ambiant air is warm so your swim will be a relief!

Practical information
You'll meet your instructor at the AN Rafting base and he will brief you on the activity.
You'll take the shuttle bus for a few minutes and reach the pontoon. There, you'll analyse the descent and the difficulties before getting into the water.
You'll swim and use your buoy to go through the river but don't worry, your instructor is there at all times to help you pass the rapids and advise you on the paddling technics.
