With family, friends or colleagues, go rafting in Serre-Chevalier, an outdoor sport that combines leisure and nature!
Rafting is a team sport practised in white water. Supervised by a guide, the crew travels down a river in an inflatable boat, also known as a raft, which usually holds 8 people. This is a great way to discover the countryside along the River Guisane between Briançon and Serre Chevalier when it's calm. Experience the thrills of rafting through the eddies and rapids of the river in Serre Chevalier!
The river Guisane is 27.7 km long and rises at the Col du Lautaret on the northern slopes of the Combeynot massif. Water levels are highest from May to early July. At the start of each rafting trip, your guide will position you in the raft and explain paddle handling, manoeuvres and safety rules.
Rafting Experience offers three different rafting courses in Serre Chevalier, so you can choose the one that suits you best!
- Rafting Découverte: an experience to share with family and friends, for young and old alike, while admiring the breathtaking scenery and seeing the mountains from a different perspective!
- The full trip: Descend the entire Serre Chevalier valley from top to bottom and enjoy the surrounding scenery and rapids up to class IV!
