Hiking in the Plo del Naou, Arreau

Julien proposes you a hike in the Plo del Naou starting from the Aspin pass. Located on the Arreau mountain, the Plo del Naou is 1754 metres high. It is easily accessible from the Col d'Aspin, which is the starting point for this family hike.

The aim of this day is to allow you to get together with your family and share a good time in the open air with the children. This hike , with nature activities, is open to all! These activities will amaze young and old alike throughout your hike to live an unforgettable experience with the children!

The Plo del Naou and Aspin pass area offers a large number of themes that you can tackle between forest and summer pastures:
- The forest environment ( identification of trees, games, traces and clues)
- Mountain summer pastures (pastoralism, observation of large birds of prey, botany)
- The aquatic environment in mountain streams, insects, fungi (in autumn)

There is something for all tastes and ages!

From the Plo del Naou you will have superb views over the Arbizon massif, the Louron crests, the peaks of the Aure valley (Sarrouyes, Lustou, Berdalade, La Haille ...) as well as the neighbouring Campan valley.
