The first step towards becoming a certified diver, the Open Water course consists of 7 dives (first dive included) that will enable you to take part in exploration dives anywhere in the world, to a depth of 18 metres. First of all, you will take theory lessons online, and then you can organise your 7 diving sessions in Saint-Cyprien according to your availability and desired pace.
Supervised by a qualified instructor, you will take your Open Water Diver course in Saint-Cyprien in complete safety and discover the seabed between Collioure and Banyuls-sur-Mer, an area rich in underwater biodiversity. In total, 7 dives of 20 to 40 minutes each in small groups await you, the ideal way to become more comfortable underwater while taking full advantage of the underwater environment of the Côte Vermeille!

Practical information
Course of 6 half-days including an e-learning theory course before 7 dives (first dive included) of 20 to 40 minutes each to a maximum depth of 18 metres
- Welcome at the dive centre for your first half-day session
- Safety instructions, distribution of equipment and boarding in the speedboat
- Briefing on the activity
- Arrival at the first diving spot between Collioure and Banyuls
- Launch for your first dive at a maximum depth of 6 metres and for around 20 minutes
- Once you have completed your first dive (or before), you can also take advantage of the equipment (fins, masks and snorkels) available on the boat to snorkel while the others dive
- Head to the second dive spot for the second launch, also lasting around 20 minutes, but with a small group of divers
- Return to the dive centre and planning of the next half-day of training
Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.
Minors must present a parental authorization.
