Luminy, Aix-Marseille University campus with more than 70,000 students, is located at the gateway to the Calanques National Park. You will meet your guide in the largest university of France before going to discover incredible panoramic views.

The Calanques of Marseille extend over twenty kilometers. The National Park offers magnificent landscapes with a wild fauna and flora with more than 140 protected animal and plant species, 60 marine species.

During your hiking, you will discover the viewpoint of the Calanques and its breathtaking panoramic view, where you may take some beautiful pictures. You will see the Calanque of Saint John of God, nicknamed the Calanque of the Glass Eye because the cavity of the curved cliff which overhangs, it is similar to the cavity of the eye orbit.
You will have the opportunity to see the Calanque of Sugiton where you will be surprised by the turquoise blue water of the Mediterranean Sea.

I really enjoyed it! I wish it would have lasted a bit longer as I don’t think we reached the 5 hours. Also we only saw one of the two calanques mentioned in the description. With the small group and the amazing guide I had a great time and saw some breathtaking places. The guide also brought some good snacks and informative booklet about marine life which was very nice!
