Hydrospeed down the Durance in Ecrins National Park

Go full speed in the rapids and swim like a fish in the enchanting natural environment of Durance river!

The natural environment of the Parc des Ecrins combined with the rapids of Durance river is a cocktail of sensations and wonder!

You will start from the Eau Vive Passion base to reach the lake of Serre Ponçon via the rapids of a 10.2 km itinerary of class III and the famous passage of the Rabioux wave!
You can benefit from the facilities on-site before and after your activity (parking, mini-golf, volleyball court, picnic area, hot showers and toilets...)

The instructors are all state certified and will always listen to you to make your activity perfect!

Hydrospeed is basically swimming in white water. It's a sporty activity during which you are one with nature and river currents! You will control your direction using your fins and the buoy that are your weapons of choice to take on the waves of the river.

You will arrive head-on in the waves and feel each flow that carries you along and give you more speed. The water is cold and the rocks are numerous... But don't panic! You won't feel anything since you'll be well protected in your reinforced wetsuit. You'll feel just like a fish in water!
