A nature getaway for anyone from the age of 6, this snowshoe hike to Lac du Mariet takes you on a discovery of the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park, a superb natural area located between Annecy and Aix-les-Bains. A total of 2 to 3 hours of walking awaits you, depending on your pace, to which your mountain leader will adapt the walk.

The route of your snowshoe hike in the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park will take you along a forest track to the mountain pastures, and finally to Lac du Mariet, your destination. Superb snow-covered landscapes will amaze young and old alike along the way, as will the anecdotes from your guide, who will be delighted to share his passion for the wide open spaces of the mountains with you.

Practical information

Private group tour: you will be accompanied only by your loved ones and the guide

Course of events

- Meeting with your guide at the Rte de Pré Poulain car park

- Equipment of the snowshoes and briefing on the tour and safety instructions

- Departure for a 2 to 3-hour snowshoe hike to the Lac du Mariet (loop with 200 metres of positive and negative gradient)

- Return to the starting point, removal of your snowshoes and end of the activity

Activity requirements

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

You will need snowshoes and walking poles to take part in this activity: you can rent the equipment on site for around €10. Alternatively, the guide has 4 pairs of snowshoes and poles that he can lend you: please contact him once your booking has been confirmed to see if they are still available.
