Surf lessons in la Tranche sur Mer

Have you always dreamed of experiencing the sensations of surfing? So Koa Surfschool is there to meet your expectations thanks to its discovery course formula which will allow you to initiate yourself into the practice of this discipline.

With Koa Surfschool you will have the chance, in addition to learning to surf, to understand the ocean which is an extraordinary playground. You will be able, following your experience with Bruno, to decipher the natural phenomena of tides, waves, winds and currents in order to be able to evolve in an environment without any risk.

Once the presentations have been made with Bruno, you will equip yourself with a wetsuit and a board to then go to the beach. You will then be invited to warm up in the water in Bodysurf (use of your body and the power of the wave to glide on the water). Then you will return to the beach to perform various educational exercises. Finally you can take your first foams or waves depending on your level and the conditions. At the end of the course, you will do a quick debriefing before going to change in the changing rooms provided for this purpose.

Equipment :

You will evolve with equipment adapted to your level. For beginners it will be a board specially designed for learning, namely a board with a foam coating and flexible plastic fins which eliminates all risks of accidents with the board. Learning with a suitable board, accompanied by a qualified and experienced instructor, makes surfing accessible to all.

Spot:

La Terrière beach in La Tranche sur Mer is the northernmost beach of the seaside resort. It is the wildest beach with beautiful dunes and a pleasant forest to the north. This wide sandy beach stretches for about 2 km. It has a lifeguard station during the summer and many activities can be practiced there (sand yachting, surfing, etc.). There is a large car park with around 500 spaces.
