The Dora Baltea is located 2 hours away from the Centron watersports centre. This rafting excursion requires strong navigation skills for you to the thrills and the excitement of the activity! As you will see the landscape is absolutely breath taking, so don’t forget to take in the amazing view over the Mont Blanc along the way!
Program
- Meeting at 7.00am at the Centron watersports centre. You can have a coffee before helping loading the equipment in the van. After that it is time to drive to Italy with the group. The guides will drive through the Petit Saint Bernard pass. Once you make it there, you will have a break to enjoy the breath taking view over the surrounding peaks. You will then head towards the Aosta Valley and the typical lauze roof buildings.
- The guides check the river’s water level before deciding on the program of the day. You will raft down at least 3 different routes in a row! You will start smoothly, just to get used to the cold water (it is 5°!!) and to test the crew.
- It gets harder by the time you have reached the 3rd route. The guides manage the excitement and fatigue of the crew to ensure that everyone enjoy this incredible experience. Now you understand what the team spirit truly is!
