The descent of the Cornillou canyon lasts about half a day and is accessible to anyone who can swim, from the age of 10. On the program: abseiling, jumps up to 7 meters high (never compulsory), swims, slides and the famous "zip toboggan" (a mixture of zip line and slide). A state-qualified guide will be on hand to accompany you throughout the activity and ensure your safety.

Course of events

- Meet your instructor at Escale Verticale

- Shuttle bus to starting point (7 km)

- Equipment: wetsuit, harness, helmet

- Approach walk: 15 minutes

- Briefing on the activity and presentation of safety rules

- Descent of Cornillou canyon

- Return walk: 15 minutes

Activity requirements

Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.

Special terms

For an additional €15, Escale Verticale will fix a waterproof camera/camcorder to your helmet so you can take photos and make a video throughout your adventure, which will be transferred onto a memory card and given to you before you leave.

Meeting point:
From the fountain at 15054 Condat, take the road (route de bort), after 7km you will pass the village of Cornillou. Drive to the crossroads below the village and park on the other side of the bridge.
