Accessible from the age of 4 and accompanied by an adult, the zipline course above the Durance gorges at L'Argentière-la-Bessée is a great way to spend some family time near Briançon. Each 500 metres long and located 200 metres above the ground, the 2 zip-lines in the Gorges de la Durance Park will give you a great sense of speed (up to 60 km/h) and freedom, set against an exceptional natural landscape on the edge of the Ecrins National Park.

Supervised by a team of professionals using top-quality equipment, this zip-line experience above the Durance gorges takes place in complete safety, with an automatic braking system at the end of the descent where you will be picked up by an instructor. You will be able to enjoy your activity with peace of mind, while admiring the surrounding mountains and the Durance flowing beneath your feet!

Practical information

Course of events

- Welcome at Roc Aventure base

- 20 minutes walk to access the zip lines or 5 minutes by car

- Safety and activity briefing

- Equipment with the help of an instructor

- Descent of 2 zip lines 500 metres long (round trip, 2 x 40 seconds approx.)

- Meeting with an instructor at the end of the zip line and de-equipping

Activity requirements

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant or disabled people.
