Enjoy a two-day canoeing adventure on one of the most famous rivers in France, the Ardèche. From your canoe kayak, you will contemplate magnificent landscapes: 250 m high cliffs with caves, a rich fauna and flora and all this in a preserved nature!

On the first day, after being welcomed and equipped by the professional and passionate members of La Vernede, (life jackets, waterproof canisters etc...) you embark on your adventure. You will start by passing under the Pont d'Arc, before entering the nature reserve where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the many beaches you will encounter on your route.

The second day will allow you to sail in the heart of the Ardèche nature in the middle of breathtaking landscapes while enjoying swimming or picnic breaks on the numerous banks.

On arrival, the La Vernede team will be waiting to take you back to the departure point in an air-conditioned bus.

To experience two memorable days, go down the Ardèche Gorges in a canoe kayak! You won't regret it!

Practical information

The total length of this two-day canoe trip is 32km. You can choose
choose to cover 16 km per day by reserving your night at the GOURNIER bivouac, or rather to do 10km on the first day, then 20km on the second, spending your night at the GAUD bivouac of GAUD.

Course of events

Day 1 : Departure between 8 and 11 am (duration 3h30) - Passage under the Pont d'Arc

First half of the integral : 16 km of peaceful walk to the bivouac of Gournier.
Consider a difference in altitude and a walk of about 30 minutes with your equipment to reach the road where the buses will be waiting for you at the end of the day around 6 pm.
You are free to choose your accommodation for the night: gîte, bed and breakfast, hotel, camping, etc., and enjoy a Vallon evening.

Day 2 : Departure around 10am (duration 3h30)

Let's go for a ride! Canoeing down the last drop. You embark at the place where you finished the day before and let you slide along the beaches for an arrival in Sauze around 4 pm.

Be careful, abandoning the second day is unacceptable, you have already done the hardest!

Nous avons adoré notre aventure en canoë ! Le cadre est incroyable et on peut s’arrêter à plusieurs endroits pour profiter du paysage. Le rapport qualité prix est normal (c’est les prix du secteur). Nous recommandons ! Ça vaut le coup nous avons passé un chouette moment et le personnel était très agréable
