The snowshoeing itinerary starts at the Foyer de Ski de Fond de Glières, near Annecy, on the edge of the forest where you will walk until you reach the Chalet des Mouilles.
You will then continue on your way to the Col de l'Ovine (1778m), and enjoy a magnificent panorama offering a view of the summits of the Bornes-Aravis massifs, including Mont Lachat.
The snowshoeing tour continues towards the Chalet de l'Ovine, a stopover before starting the climb to the Pointe de la Québlette (1915m), the highest point of this snowshoeing tour near Annecy.
You will enjoy a picnic facing the Plateau des Glières, a high place of the Resistance.
The descent is made first by the same route, then you will avoid the Bois des Lanches and join the Plaine de Dran then, by a marked out track, the Foyer de Ski de Fond.

- Meeting point at 10:30 am at the Foyer de Ski de Fond des Glières, car park
- Departure for a 4h30 walk
- Start of the itinerary on the edge of the forest
- Leave the forest to reach the Col de l'Ovine (1778m)
- Continuation of the route to the Pointe de la Québlette via the Chalet de l'Ovine
- Picnic at the Pointe (1915m)
- Return by the same route, passing by the Plaine de Dran
- End of the hike around 4pm at the Plateau des Glières
- No physical condition is required for this activity, you just need to be at least 6 years old.
- Hiking level: WT2 Hiking (max. 25 degree slope, steep slope nearby)
