Planète Apnée invites you to explore the unique sensations of freediving, where the tranquility of Lake Annecy blends with the excitement of underwater exploration. Passionate and professional instructors guide you through this adventure, combining the benefits of this underwater activity to live an unforgettable moment, discover new sensations, and push your boundaries and limits.

During your freediving discovery in Annecy in water at an average of 23°C, you will learn basic breathing techniques and get into the water with your instructor at one of the most beautiful sites on the lake Annecy. Once in the water, your instructor will guide you and offer practical exercises tailored to your level to discover and progress in freediving.

Come freediving in the calm waters of Lake Annecy to push your boundaries and discover a new underwater passion in one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alps. You will be surprised by your capabilities!

- Welcome and introduction to your instructor
- Relaxation/breathing session

Activity requirements

Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.

Special terms

There can be 1 to 4 people per instructor and per buoy, and up to 8 people in the water at the same time with 2 instructors.

How can you join us?
- By bus (free in July and August) from Annecy via the Sibra network.
- By bike via the cycle path that passes just above the site.
- By car: on-site car park (paying in summer).

Freediving equipment (fins, mask, snorkel and wetsuit) is included, but you can of course use your own equipment if you prefer. Your instructor will even be able to give you tips on how to use it better.

The wetsuits supplied are adapted to the temperature of the lake (23°C on average at the surface) so you can enjoy the activity to the full without fear of the cold - quite the opposite, in fact!
