Lapinlahti Beach offers visitors a picturesque spot to enjoy the waterfront and relax during the warmer months.
The excursion begins at the starting point in Lapinlahti, where you’ll meet the experienced instructor. They will go through a safety briefing and you’ll receive the equipment (kayak, paddle, paddling vest and dry bag). Then, the adventure begins! Following the guide, you’ll set off paddling from Lapinlahti Beach along Helsinki’s coastline. You’ll kayak around Seurasaari, an island located a few kilometres northwest of the city centre. The island boasts lush greenery and a stunning coastline. Seurasaari is most well-known for its outdoor museum, Seurasaari Open-Air Museum, which showcases traditional Finnish architecture and way of life. The guide will share insights about the historical significance of the island.
You’ll take a break at the nearby island of Pukkisaari, situated in the archipelago of the Gulf of Finland. Pukkisaari is known for its natural beauty, with rocky shores, forested areas, and scenic views of the surrounding sea. Here, you’ll walk along the pine trees to the historic Seurasaari Bridge.
