Join an exciting glass-bottom boat tour from Protaras in Cyprus to discover the natural beauty of this stunning Mediterranean island. Welcoming adventurers of all ages on this family-friendly excursion!

Protaras is a popular resort town situated on the southeastern coast of Cyprus, known for its picturesque beaches, vibrant nightlife, and charming atmosphere. The coastline is dotted with sandy shores and crystal-clear waters. On this boat trip, you’ll discover some of the most iconic sites in Protaras!

The boat adventure begins at the starting point at Protaras Pier, where you’ll be greeted on board the glass-bottom boat by the experienced guide. The boat is a semi-submarine, equipped with a bar where you can purchase food and drink throughout the tour, free WiFi, toilets, and 3 deck levels. The underwater deck is fully air-conditioned and features 23 giant portholes and comfortable seating for watching the underwater marine life.

Then, the captain will set sail from Protaras across the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea! You’ll start by sailing past some historical sites, including Saint Nicholas Church and Famagusta, the historic ghost town that has been abandoned since the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974. Then, you’ll have a view of Fig Tree Bay, a beautiful beach in Protaras.

As you sail, you can relax on the sun or shaded areas of the top deck, admiring the panoramic views of the coastline, or you can sit below deck and try to spot underwater marine life through the portholes, such as dolphins and turtles.

The first stop on the tour is Turtle Cove, a unique and secluded cove located on the northern coast of Cyprus. It is a nesting site for endangered sea turtles, including the loggerhead and green turtles. You’ll enjoy a swim in the refreshing azure waters, encountering the sea turtles up close if you’re lucky!

Back on board the boat, you’ll sail past Cape Greco, a national park, and witness its fascinating sea caves. You’ll also pass by a quaint stone bridge, known locally as Lover’s Bridge. The journey then continues to another scenic swimming spot, the Blue Lagoon, known for its deep blue waters.

You’ll swim in the tranquil waters and take in the stunning scenic beauty of the Blue Lagoon. The boat is equipped with water slides for adults and children, as well as diving boards for the more daring! For those who can’t swim, life jackets and steps are available so you can still enjoy the waters. The boat will then sail back to the starting point at Protaras Pier, where the trip comes to an end.

Embark on a morning or afternoon glass-bottom boat excursion in Protaras with swimming stops to immerse yourself in the diverse coastal landscapes of Cyprus!
