The Mir saltwater lake is situated in Telašćica National Park on Dugi Otok island. A Dalmatian island on the Croatian coastline, its closest town is Sali and can be reached by ferry from Zadar. The bay surrounded by 13 islands and islets, together with 6 islets inside the bay itself, which was proclaimed a Nature Park in 1988.
