A first dive in Propriano, south of Ajaccio, is a recommended experience for anyone wishing to discover scuba diving in Corsica: the Gulf of Propriano, also known as the Gulf of Valinco, offers a number of magnificent dive sites where you can spend your first moments underwater! With warm, transparent waters rich in flora and fauna, you will have the chance to spot groupers, octopus and rays, depending on the dive site you visit (this one is always chosen according to sea and weather conditions).

Always accompanied by a qualified instructor who will equip you directly in the water and teach you the basics of scuba diving, your discovery of scuba diving in Propriano will be a 15 to 20 minutes dive to a depth of 6 metres, alone with the instructor who will stay by your side at all times to reassure you and ensure your safety.

It is up to you to choose how you want to spend your first dive at Propriano to make it an unforgettable experience!

Practical information

Classic first dive: a 15 to 20 minute dive to a maximum depth of 6 metres

Course of events

- Welcome at the dive centre on Propriano beach

- Board the boat to sail to the dive site

- Distribution of equipment and safety briefing

- Take your turn in the water with the instructor for 15 to 20 minutes underwater

- Return to the boat with the possibility of snorkeling when the other divers make their own first dive

- Sail back to the centre in Propriano, disembark and finish the activity, with changing rooms on site
