Take a boat trip from Porto to the Gulf of Porto and the Scandola reserve, lasting about 3 hours and 15 minutes!
The Gulf of Porto is full of incredible natural sites just waiting to be explored: the calanques of Piana, Capo Rosso, Scandola, and Girolata.
On board your RIB or speedboat, you can admire these sites as you sail along the coastline towards Capo Rosso and its caves and natural pools. First, you will visit the calanques of Piana, a magical place listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, at the end of the gulf, you will discover the Capo Rosso, a cape overhung by a Genoese tower to discover its caves and natural pools. It is also the second most western point of Corsica.
You will then head for the Scandola nature reserve, where you can enjoy a swimming break (depending on the weather conditions). On the way back, you will discover the small hamlet of Girolata, only accessible by sea or on foot from the Col de la Croix via a famous part of the Tra Mare e Monti (postman's path). A 30-minute stop in this unique village is planned to fully enjoy the scenery!
You don't know what to choose between the speedboat and the boat? You should know that in both cases, the boat has a size that allows you to enter caves and crevices in order to sail as close to the coast as possible! Both boats are also limited to 12 people, which guarantees a small group tour. The difference is that the boat is more comfortable and can accommodate children from 4 years old, whereas you need to be at least 6 years old to go on the speedboat, in which there will be more movement and you will have to remain seated.
To discover the natural wonders of the Gulf of Porto, head to the port of Porto for a boat trip you won't soon forget!
