Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, PADI Discover Scuba Diving is for you.

Playa de las Americas is a coastal area located in the southwest of Tenerife. It is known for being one of the most popular surfing.

If you would like to try diving without taking the full course to obtain a license then you can take part in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program. During this program a PADI Divemaster or Instructor will talk you through the basic principles of scuba diving and explain a few safety guidelines. They will also teach you a few basic exercises which you will practice in the water so that you are comfortable and confident using the equipment.

The diving centre offers two different options for this program:
- You can make a single dive from the local beach, or
- You can make your initial training in the swimming pool and then go out on a boat for a dive at one of the fabulous diving sites.

In either case, you will be surrounded by the beautiful Playa de las Americas in the sunny coast of Tenerife.
