Practical information

A 2-hour guided sea kayaking excursion from Los Cristianos to discover the Palm-Mar coastline and the underwater fauna that resides there during a 30-minute guided snorkelling session.

Course of events

Please allow around 3 hours for your visit.

  • Meeting with the team at the Diving Atlantis Centre in Los Cristianos
  • Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
  • Distribution of sea kayaking equipment (paddle, life jacket, etc.)
  • Short walk to the beach to launch the kayaks
  • Departure for a 2.5-hour sea kayaking excursion to Palm-Mar, including a 30-minute guided snorkelling stop
  • Return to the beach, equipment storage and end of the activity
Activity requirements

Maximum weight per person: 220 lbs (100 kg)

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 6 to 10 must share a kayak with an adult.

Special terms

This activity is not recommended for pregnant people and disabled people.

Since wildlife is unpredictable, the presence of turtles is never guaranteed.

Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity are weather-dependent.

Your instructor offers a pick-up service at 2€ per person from the south of Tenerife (Callao Salvaje, Playa Paraiso, La Caleta, Fañabe, Costa Adeje, Adeje, Playa las Americas, Los Cristianos, Palm-Mar, Las Galletas, Costa Silencio and El Médano) and at 15€ per car from Puerto Santiago, Playa la Arena, Alcalá and Playa San Juan. If you are staying in the north of the island, please contact the instructor once your booking has been confirmed to see what he can offer you.

Wir haben eine gute Einweisung ein das richtige handling mit dem Kajak, der Taucherbrille und dem Schnorchel bekommen. Danach ging es auch schon los, wir sind bei wenig Wellengang auf offene mehr gepaddelt, haben bei einer Fischfarm angehalten und haben hier deinen Delfin beobachten können. Ein Stück weiter in einer Lagune in der wir dann auch schnorcheln waren, waren sehr viele Fische zu sehen und tatsächlich auch Schildkröten und ein riesiger Rochen! Danach ging es wieder zurück und sind am Strand angekommen, da der Wellengang an der anderen Stelle zu stark war und wir kleine Kinder mit in der Gruppe hatten. Angekommen haben wir uns noch ein wenig abbrausen können und erstmal realisieren, was wir alles gesehen haben. Es war großartig, vielen Dank!!
