You don't need to be a scuba diver to get in touch with the magical underwater world of Tenerife! During this amazing snorkeling excursion near Las Galletas you'll come across sea turtles and manta rays.

The instructors, who are expertise in Tenerife's underwater world and the secrets it hides will allow you to experience the amazing wildlife of the island on a snorkeling trip. The diving spot is only reachable by boat, which is one of the reasons why sea turtles, manta rays, and other species have been able to thrive in these waters.

Located the meeting point 15 minutes away from Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje and Playa de las Américas, it offers a unique experience suitable for everybody.

There is a high probability of seeing the turtles, but there is no 100% guarantee since they are animals living in their natural state.

After meeting the crew at the Port of Las Galletas (Marina del Sur), you will begin a journey of approximately 20 minutes by boat through the Malpais de Rasca, a Protected Natural Area, whose spectacular landscape you will enjoy from the sea.

You will arrive at the cliffs of El Palmar, where the boat will anchor. In this area, you will be able to swim with green turtles for an hour. In addition to turtles, you will be able to discover many other species of the typical marine fauna of the Canary Islands: pejeverdes, sargos, fulas, trumpet fish, etc. It is also highly possible that you get the chance to see rays, very common in the area.

At all times you will be accompanied by an experienced instructor, who will give you all the instructions on the use of the equipment and, in addition, will transmit a lot of information about the marine life that you will find.

Without a doubt, it will be a unique experience that will fascinate you. In addition, you will leave with souvenir photos, so that this experience remains truly unforgettable!

The speedboat made it possible to get close-up to all sorts of wildlife in a very comfortable, but thrilling manner. The lightweight floatation wetsuits made the snorkelling very easy. The guide/ tour operator was experienced and we felt safe and well cared for. Loved the video and pictures we got from the morning, though we felt the video was a little expensive. Embarking from Las Gallettas made the experience more authentic since it is a port removed from the central tourist beaches of Los Christianos, etc… which allows you to experience local services like a fish market, and tapas bars by the docks which would not be seen in the larger, more touristy ports.

Absolutely fantastic! Totally recommended. We did the snorkeling trip today. We saw lots of dolphins, swam with fish, turtles and rays. I’ve done a lot of trips like this (Hawaii, Australia etc). This was the best - no large crowds, it was just us and the crew (4 in total). Book it, you won’t be disappointed 👍

We booked the tour in advance and were lucky to be the only (two of us) participants - so we had full attention from the fantastic guide. If you are going by own car, plan a little bit extra time to find some parking space. The company contacted us two days earlier to find out the sizes for fins and swimsuits which saved time at check-in. Sea was calm and after a 20-minute ride with a rubber boat we reached the snorkeling spot near high rocks and fish farms on the other side. First we spotted some dolphins playing. Then entered the sea and started to look around. Initially not much was there, but later four turtles came and started to swim around beautifully. Some other fish, too, however turtles were by far the most interesting to watch.
