Are you a diver with an Open Water Diver certification or more who would like to make several dives in Tenerife? Then this is the activity for you!

The island of Tenerife has ideal conditions for scuba diving in the Canary Islands, with temperate waters between 18 and 24°C all year round with good visibility. So if you are at least an Open Water Diver, you shouldn't miss out on an exploration dive from Costa Adeje! Accompanied by Diving Atlantis dive masters, you will leave by boat for 2 consecutive morning dives (with a one-hour break in between), over one or more days depending on the number of dives you choose.

Going on an exploration dive from Costa Adeje will allow you to discover different dive sites that are rich and varied, both in terms of scenery and flora and fauna: wrecks (El Condesito, Tabaiba, the Meridian, etc.), caves (Zorro Cave, Camarones Cave, Alibaba Cave, etc.), etc. A lot is waiting for you! The choice of dive sites will be made on the day by the dive masters according to the day's weather conditions and your level, but also taking into account your wishes. In any case, you will be sure to feast your eyes on the many sculpted landscapes of volcanic rock and the flourishing underwater life (turtles, rays, moray eels, cuttlefish, etc.) of Tenerife's waters!

With a small group of no more than 8 divers on board the boat (not including dive masters), your exploration diving experience in Tenerife from Costa Adeje will be unforgettable. And don't forget that you can also book your exploration dives from Las Galletas if that suits you better!

Practical information

Choose from 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 exploration dives in Tenerife from Costa Adeje! Dives are always done in pairs over one morning.

⚠️ Diving equipment is not included in the price and must be added at the time of booking (10€ per day).

Course of events

Please allow around 4~5 hours for your visit.

  • Meeting with the team at the Ola Diving Center in Costa Adeje
  • Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
  • Preparation of scuba diving equipment
  • Short walk to the boat at the port, then boarding
  • Sail to the first dive site selected according to the day's weather conditions and your diving level
  • Launch for 45 minutes to 1 hour of diving with a dive master
  • Return to the boat for a 1-hour break before heading off to the second dive site
  • Launch again for 45 minutes to 1 hour of diving with a dive master
  • Return to the port of Costa Adeje, equipment storage and end of the activity
Activity requirements

A minimum Open Water Diver certification is required to take part in this activity.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Special terms

This activity is not recommended for pregnant people.

Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity are weather-dependent.

If someone wishes to accompany you on board without diving, they can book their place on board by selecting ‘Snorkelling’.

Your instructor offers a pick-up service at 2€ per person from the south of Tenerife (Callao Salvaje, Playa Paraiso, La Caleta, Fañabe, Costa Adeje, Adeje, Playa las Americas, Los Cristianos, Palm-Mar, Las Galletas, Costa Silencio and El Médano) and at 15€ per car from Puerto Santiago, Playa la Arena, Alcalá and Playa San Juan. If you are staying in the north of the island, please contact the instructor once your booking has been confirmed to see what he can offer you.
