The Centre de vacances Ferme 5 Étoiles offers to take you to observe the black bear in its natural habitat on the Domaine de l'Ours Noir near Tadoussac.

You will first meet your guide, who will show you a short video and give you some information to help you learn a little more about the bear in Quebec. Then you'll set off with him for a walk through the forest to reach the secure observation post. From the observation post, you can admire black bears in their natural environment in the Saguenay. Black bears are wild animals, but they are seen more than 9 times out of 10 at the Domaine de l'Ours Noir near Tadoussac.

Practical information

Accompanied by an enthusiastic guide, visit the Domaine de l'ours noir to observe these wild animals in their natural habitat from a safe observation post in the heart of the forest near Tadoussac.

Course of events

- Walk through the forest to reach the observation post

- Observe the Quebec black bear with a passionate guide

Activity requirements

A short walk of less than 5 minutes through the forest is necessary to reach the black bear observation post in liberty.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of the activity.

Special terms

It is forbidden to bring food with you into the forest. You should therefore bring a snack before you leave.

Wild animals are unpredictable; we cannot guarantee that you will see them during this activity.

Since wildlife is unpredictable, their presence is never guaranteed.

Will organised but a little crowded, with about 30 people during our session. However, nothing detracts from seeing animals in their natural habitat. Well worth doing if you like this sort of thing.
