Want to meet the world's largest mammals during your stay in Quebec City? It's possible, starting downtown!
Croisières AML invites you to join them in front of the Tourny fountain, in the heart of Quebec City, for a day trip by bus to observe the whales aboard one of their zodiacs, departing from Baie-Sainte-Catherine, near Tadoussac.
You will travel by bus from the centre of Quebec City through the seductive landscapes of Charlevoix. The perfect opportunity to see the surroundings of Quebec City, its forests and lakes, before sailing on the St. Lawrence!
Quebec has much to offer, but the must-do activity is to come and meet the whales. They travel thousands of kilometres to feed in the gigantic natural larder of the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park, one of the most beautiful whale-watching sites in the world.
In the heart of a unique environment, your captain-naturalist will take you aboard his zodiac to observe the whales in compliance with the regulations of the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park before ending this cruise with a trip into the majestic Saguenay Fjord.
The species of whales you will most often see are the beluga, fin whale, minke whale, blue whale, humpback whale, harbour porpoise and grey seal.
This is a fantastic zodiac experience for wildlife and photography enthusiasts, so go whale watching from Quebec City!
