The Aventures Liguoriennes team, passionate about dog sledding for more than 15 years, offers you a warm welcome and an introduction to night sledding for an unforgettable and unusual experience.
Once at the kennel, your guide will introduce you to the pack and give you a training on the techniques of driving and preparation of your sled. Equipped with warm clothes and a headlamp, you will be ready to follow the guide and travel the beautiful snowy forest trails at night with true canine athletes! You will set off at sunset to admire the natural spectacle of the changing colours of the sky at nightfall. On the way back, you will enjoy a special moment of play with the dogs and puppies over a hot drink!
During your night walk, you can enjoy the sky, without light or air pollution, and observe the twinkling stars and the moon. A magical 1.5 to 2 hour experience that will take you through the Canadian plains and forests. The extensive and well-maintained trails make the walk accessible to anyone in good physical condition.

Practical information
Cold weather clothing: snow trousers, very warm coat, winter boots, mittens, hat (warmer clothing is needed than for skiing as this is a more static sport).
If necessary, it is possible to complete your equipment free of charge (boots, snow trousers and mittens).
Driving a sled requires a good physical condition, a good sense of balance and good reflexes.
The maximum weight for this activity is 110kg.
On the tour, there are two of you per sled, and at least one of the two people must be able to drive the team of 5 to 6 dogs. You can alternate between sitting and driving halfway through the tour, if you wish.
On the trails, you will follow your guide with his own dog team.
The activity is accessible to anyone in good physical condition, no knee or back problems are required. The activity requires a certain sense of balance, good reflexes and a high level of attention.
