The Strubklamm is one of the biggest and most impressive canyons in Austria. During this thrilling half-day canyoning adventure, you will experience the breathtaking nature just 20 kilometres east of Salzburg from an entirely new perspective!
But first, you are going to meet your experienced and local guide at the Gasthof Obermayr which is close to the canyon. By car, you are heading to the starting point which is located about 5 minutes from there. Now it's time to gear up for the activity. You are going to wear a helmet and wet suit so you are well-equipped for the refreshing and rocky environment. Through a small pass, you will descend down to the canyon. For the next 3-4 hours, you will spend your time swimming, sliding, abseiling and jumping!
You shouldn't be afraid of jumping on this tour – some of the spots are as high as 8 metres. If that's still not enough for you, there's on an option to climb up and jump from 12 metres at one spot! However, you can also choose to abseil down in case you don't feel comfortable jumping.
You will be in the water most of the time. Therefore, all participants should be good swimmers and need to be in good physical condition. This activity is suitable for children from years 14 old. Besides that this canyoning trip is the perfect team activity for large groups!
