Rafting tour of medium difficulty through the Imster Gorge on the Inn, the most water-rich river in the Tyrolean Alps.
Rafting tour of medium difficulty through the Imster Gorge on the Inn, the most water-rich river in the Tyrolean Alps.
Tour description Imster Gorge:
In initially calm water, commands are learned and paddle strokes practised. After a few minutes, your first test comes.. the entrance surge, here you get a wet impression of what whitewater means. On the way to the pipe bridge sound, "white water swimming" and "Flippen" (capsizing of the raft) are explained and demonstrated.
Waves, rollers and eddies follow from the pipe bridge surge, which will bring you great white water fun. At the key point, the "Memminger Walze", we have a good half of the tour behind us. However, the difficulties and waves do not subside before we arrive at the exit in Haiming. Our buses are already waiting there to drive us back to our camp. A warm shower awaits us here, a volleyball game, a well-deserved beer or a follow-up tour.
Process:
After you have received and tried on the complete safety equipment (neoprene suit, jacket, rafting shoes, helmet and life jacket) in our outdoor camp in Sautens, we take our minibuses to the entry point on the Inn in Imst. After the detailed safety briefing (“safety talk”) by our state-certified guide, you can start right away.
